The MAC has had its ups and downs this season, but there have been some big winners that have made sharp NCAA football bettors some great coin.

Central Michigan has been the king of the college football picks in the MAC from our perspective.

1: Central Michigan Chippewas (4-1 ATS, 2-3 SU) (LW: 1) – Even though the Chippies got beaten last week as 19.5 point favorites, we’re still going to keep them in the top spot for college football picks in the MAC.

2: Temple Owls (4-1 ATS, 4-1 SU) (LW: 2) – Temple in the Top 25? Successful college football picks against both NIU and BG will certainly have this team in the discussion at 8-1 going into November.

3: Miami Redhawks (3-2 ATS, 3-2 SU) (LW: 7) – The Redhawks are the only 2-0 team in the MAC East at this point and have three wins at home; three times the number they had there last year.

4: Bowling Green Falcons (3-2 ATS, 1-4 SU) (LW: 3) – Bowling Green badly needs Matt Schilz under center, and it would be a mistake to make college football picks on it until that happens.

5: Northern Illinois Huskies (3-2 ATS, 3-2 SU) (LW: – Big showdown with Owls might be a MAC Championship preview.

6: Toledo Rockets (3-2 ATS, 3-2 SU) (LW: 4) – The Rockets finally slipped for the first time since the opening week game against Arizona, and this week’s trip to the Smurf Turf is sure to be the second in a row.

7: Ohio Bobcats (3-2 ATS, 2-3 SU) (LW: 9) – Bobcats picked up a ‘W’ at EMU in spite of the fact that it was a struggle into the third quarter.

8: Kent State Golden Flashes (2-2 ATS, 1-3 SU) (LW: 5) – Losing to Miami really put a damper on the Golden Flashes, but they should make for successful college football picks this weekend against lowly Akron.

9: Eastern Michigan Eagles (2-3 ATS, 0-5 SU) (LW: – Is poor EMU ever going to win a game again? It sure won’t happen this week at Vandy.

10: Buffalo Bulls (2-3 ATS, 2-3 SU) (LW: 11) – It’s hard to think the Turner Gill might have actually left a better defense at Buffalo than he has right now at Kansas…

11: Ball State Falcons (2-3 ATS, 2-3 SU) (LW: 12) – The Falcons are on the way up after upsetting CMU in Mount Pleasant.

12: Western Michigan Broncos (1-3 ATS, 1-3 SU) (LW: 10) – Western Michigan has a lot of work to do defensively allowing 122 points through four games.

13: Akron Zips (1-4 ATS, 0-5 SU) (LW: 13) – Another week, another loss. Stay away from college football picks on the Zips as long as you can.
